Connect to Student-Selkirk Wi-Fi
NOTE: Wireless Student-Selkirk DOES NOT work with gaming consoles like Xbox or PlayStation.
WPA2 or WPA3 ENTERPRISE AUTHENTICATION is required to connect.
Windows

2 | Select Student-Selkirk from your Wi-Fi list, then click Connect. |

3 | Enter your Selkirk Username (firstnamelastname) as shown in your student email and Password and click OK |

4 | Click Connect |

iPhone or iPad
|

1 | Open Settings on your Device and then select Wi-Fi | |
2 | select Student-Selkirk under other networks | |
3 | Enter your Username (not your full email) and Password. | |
4 | Click on Trust |
Macbook or iMac

1 | On the top right hand side or your action bar click on the Network Icon |

2 | Select Other Networks | |
3 | Select Student-Selkirk |

4 | Enter your Username and Password then click Ok when it highlights blue |

5 | Click Continue to accept the certificate |
Android
Navigate to Wi-Fi: Tap on Connections, then tap on Wi-Fi.
Select the Network: Make sure Wi-Fi is toggled on, then select the name of the enterprise network from the list of available networks: Student-Selkirk
Enter Connection Details: You will be prompted for specific details:
Identity: Enter your username (firstnamelastname) as shown in your student email
EAP Method: Select the correct EAP method: PEAP
Phase 2 Authentication: Select the correct option: MSCHAPV2
Handle Certificates:
Select “Do not Validate” However if this option is not avaiable on you device.. try choosing “trust on first use”
Connect: Once all the correct information is entered, tap Connect
NOTE: Some device manufacturers require that this information is entered in the Anonymous Identity field rather than the Identity field. If one field fails to work on your device, try entering the information into the other field and test again.
