🔐 Logging in to Windows 11

Overview

With the move to Windows 11, you’ll now need to log in using your full Selkirk College email address (e.g., yourname@selkirk.ca or yourname@edu.selkirk.ca) instead of just your username.

This applies to all lab and classroom computers that have been upgraded.


How to Log In

  1. On the login screen, click or press any key to bring up the login prompt.

  2. In the username field, enter your full email address:
    yourname@selkirk.ca or yourname@edu.selkirk.ca

  3. Enter your regular Selkirk password.

  4. Click the arrow or press Enter.

✅ You’re now signed in!

  • Forgot your password?
    You can reset it using these instructions

  • Typing mistake?
    Double-check for typos in your email address — including the “@selkirk.ca” or “@edu.selkirk.ca” part.

  • Still having issues?
