How to PIM admin access (Selkirk Innovates)

Specific users may be granted the option to elevate their account in order to perform specific tasks on their laptops outside of regular support hours. The process below is only applicable if you have been granted this access. Please contact IT Services if you have any questions.

 

To gain access to a specific device

Elevate access

  1. Go to Microsoft Entra admin center to login and elevate you access

  2. Click on My Roles and then click Groups. Activate on AZ_PIM_Active_Admin

    Set duration to 1 hour and enter a reason for activation and click on Activate.

  4. Once activated you will need log out and log back in. Then you should have admin access for the 1 hour time period.
