Adding S: Drive for Mac Users (Formerly W: Drive)

Mac users will not automatically see the new S: drive. To connect to the S: drive, use the following instructions.

Users must follow this process EACH time they need to connect to the S: drive.

While onsite you must be connected to a dock or Staff-Selkirk Wi-Fi while using a laptop.

While offsite, you must connect using VPN.

 Instructions

  1. Open Finder, the click the Go menu and select Connect to Server…

  2. In the server field, enter smb://cas-ext-file-02.ad.selkirk.ca/SharedDocs , then click the + button to add it, then the Connect button.

 If required, enter your Selkirk College username and password.
