Adding W: Drive for Mac Users
Adding W: Drive for Mac Users
Mac users will not automatically see the new W: drive. To connect to the W: drive, use the following instructions.
IMPORTANT: Users must follow this process EACH time they need to connect to the W: drive.
PLEASE NOTE: while onsite you must be connected to a dock or SC-Staff Wi-Fi while using a laptop.
*** Connecting offsite must use VPN to connect
Instructions
Open Finder, the click the Go menu and select Connect to Server…
In the server field, enter smb://cas-ext-file-01.ad.selkirk.ca/shared_data, then click the + button to add it, then the Connect button.
If required, enter your Selkirk College username and password.
