Reviewing Quiz Results

Quizzes can be accessed in more than one way.  The quickest is to:

1. Go to the "Activities" block where the course contents are sorted by type. 
2. Click on "Quizzes" for a listing of all the quizzes in the course.
   
   
   
   
3. Review number of quizzes in this course and the number of attempts:
   
   
   
   
4. Click on "Attempts x" to view the attempts report.

Filtering Report Results and Display Options 

The default is to see only those that have attempted the quiz.  Other options are:

• Enrolled users who have not attempted the quiz
• Enrolled users who have, or have not attempted the quiz (i.e.: everyone)
• All users (enrolled or not) that have attempted the quiz

The report can be further sorted by attempts in progress, those that are overdue, finished or never submitted.

Display Options

Managing preferences for how you want to see results displayed.

• Page size: this number represents how many students will display on your screen.
• If you have changed any of these options click:  "Show report".
• Grading Table: The following shows Simple Simon's attempt is 'Not yet graded' because Q.2 'Requires Grading'.  Moodle will not display a final mark until every question has been either auto graded or manually graded.
  
  
  
  
  1. To grade question two, click on 'Review attempt' beneath Simon's name.
     
     
     
     
  2. Click 'Make comment or override mark'.
     
     
     
     
  3. Enter your comment
  4. Enter the mark
  5. Save

The above screen also allows you to see the history of the exam question (i.e. the gray section beneath the question).  For example if the student saved an answer and then went back and selected another choice, it would show in the quiz question history for that student.

Now that the question has been marked, Mr. Simon will have a grade for the quiz.

Deleting A Quiz Attempt

There are times when a quiz attempt needs to be deleted so the quiz can be attempted again.

1. Access the Quiz attempts page (instructions above).
   
   
   
   
2. Place a check mark beside Bugs Bunny's name to select this attempt.
3. Choose "Delete selected attempts" from the buttons at the bottom of the table.
